the story
est. 2024
an architectural intervention in the heart of the isle of man. redefining the boundary between raw structure and domestic comfort.
history
casadeshancisco began as a derelict victorian shell, a relic of 19th-century grandeur left to the elements. the project wasn't about preservation in the traditional sense, but about the surgical extraction of history to make room for a new narrative.
vision
we believe in the "curated void." our vision is a space where the absence of clutter allows the presence of architecture to speak. every material—from the cold rolled steel to the reclaimed timber—is selected for its ability to age with dignity.
- brutalist minimalism
- intentional asymmetry
- monochromatic soul
timeline
the acquisition
securing the site. initial structural assessments revealed a hidden foundation of reinforced stone that changed the entire design direction.
the demolition
stripping away the secondary layers. we removed decades of non-original material to expose the core architectural intent of the victorian framework.
structural framing
the new bones. custom steel beams were introduced to create the expansive, open-concept floor plans that define the home while preserving the original victorian envelope.
refinement
finishing work. we are currently hand-applying the lime wash and installing the floor-to-ceiling glass panels.
